Cyrano's Theatre Company is now inviting new committee members who will help us evolve to our next stage of fiduciary sustainability. We especially welcome new members who will reflect the demographics and diversity in our community. If you also have interest in serving on the Board we can particularly use individuals with PR, IT, and communication skills. If you are an experienced grant writer...open arms await your expertise.

Holding a BFA in Communications from Chapman University and an MFA in Directing from University of California Irvine’s prestigious Claire Trevor School of Arts, Teresa has directed professionally Off-Broadway, regionally, and internationally. She has worked with New York Classical Theatre, Vital Theatre Company, and the NY Fringe Festival and also previously served as the Executive Director of Anchorage Community Theatre. She has served on arts councils, development groups and other committee associations; locally in Anchorage she has collaborated on and off stage with organizations such as Perseverance Theatre, ACT, ATY, Alaska Native Heritage Center, Alaska Dance Theatre, UAA Department of Theatre, Out North Theatre, and worked with several nonprofit and charitable groups in a variety of roles.
Schatzie Schaefers, General Manager
Schatzie is a playwright, actress, producer and director with a long history in the Anchorage theatre community. She served as Marketing & Development Director for Out North from 2007-2010, and has worked in development for numerous local arts organizations including Valdez Last Frontier Theatre Conference. She served three years on the Board of Directors at Anchorage Community Theatre, and as a grants panelist for Alaska State Council on the Arts and National Performance Network. Previous work with Cyrano’s includes acting in KAFKA DANCES, WHO’S AFRAID OF VIRGINIA WOOLF?, and ANTON IN SHOW BUSINESS, and directing BECKY’S NEW CAR. She holds a B.A. in Theatre from UAA.
Alexis is relatively new to Anchorage and over the moon to be involved with Cyrano's Theatre Company as an actor and in marketing. Recent/Favorite credits include: The Great American Trailer Park Musical with Cyrano's Theatre Company, Moon Over Buffalo with The District Theatre, Parade at St. Ambrose University and Lord of the Underworld's Home for Unwed Mothers at Muscatine Community College. She studied Theatre at St. Ambrose University and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree.
Erin Campbell has worked with Cyrano’s throughout the years as primarily a lighting designer, and is now thrilled to be working with Cyrano’s Theatre Company in the new capacity as Production Manager. She has received her B.A of Theatre from UAA. She has worked within the theatre and dance community prominently as a Stage Manager with Perseverance Theatre, Alaska Dance Theatre, Momentum Dance Company, Anchorage Community Theatre, and the Light Brigade.
Born and raised in Alaska, making and exhibiting art has been K N’s primary occupation since 1996. Solo exhibits statewide have included International Gallery of Contemporary Art, Alaska Humanities Forum, Bunnell Street Gallery, ConocoPhillips Galleries at Alaska Pacific University, Fairbanks Arts Association’s Bear Gallery, Ketchikan Arts and Humanities Council’s Main Street Gallery, MTS Gallery, and Out North Contemporary Art House. K N has participated in 23 invitational exhibitions in Alaska; has been accepted into 35 juried art exhibitions throughout the United States and including the XXXI All-Alaska Juried at the Anchorage Museum at the Rasmuson Center; and participated in 60+ invitational and/or open group exhibitions in Alaska. K N is also a teacher of pastel, acrylic, watercolor and mixed media.
