“Each member of this ensemble cast is well cast and the characters they portray are necessary to tell the story. Schaefers is deserving of all of the praise she is likely to receive for this script. She has created the types of roles that actors love to portray and a story that will always need telling."
"A Question of Ethics."
In 2001, the Enron scandal impacted the financial lives of thousands of workers. Even more, individuals dealt with the ripple effect from all of the different dirty tactics that the company used to make money, and obscure how they were doing it. In the world premiere of Spikes, a new play by Schatzie Schaefers and presented by Cyrano's Theatre Company and RKP Productions, and directed by Dick Reichman, audiences get to take a closer look at some of those lives. While the play is fictional, the subject matter is very much based in fact, and it is a fascinating glimpse into a world of greed, ethics, and consequences.

She soon finds herself dealing with businessmen and a company that seem to lack a moral compass. While she reacts like any good journalist and goes after the story, her mother opens a mysterious letter that could change both of their lives forever, if only she can accomplish what is asked of her.
