From downtown this summer to midtown this fall! As you may have heard in Alaska Dispatch News, "Cyrano's Theatre Company is entering a new stage."
While we cherish our existing space and will miss our lively downtown location, we are very excited to announce that this fall we will be moving to our new venue formerly occupied by Out North Contemporary Art House.
This new space offers tremendous opportunity for Cyrano's to grow and thrive while maintaining an intimate black box theatre setting for our productions. We'll gain multiple spaces for performing, rehearsing, constructing sets and administration within the new building, which will remain an arts hub for collaborating with arts organizations, individual artists and community groups.
To our many valuable patrons, artists, and supporters we share all the emotions of this transition. Cyrano’s has acheived this level of growth because of YOU! Your support and participation in our first 25 years has made it possible to launch our artistic work and community development into a larger, multiplex space where our shows and partnerships can flourish even more! We carry forth the high artistic standards established by our founders, Jerry and Sandy Harper, and look forward to the next 25 years with all of you in our new location.
Learn more about what this move means to Cyrano’s from Producing Artistic Director Teresa K. Pond and Board Member Jay Burns on last week's KSKA's Stage Talk. And be sure and mark your calendars for the first production in our new location, SHE KILLS MONSTERS opening Friday, Sept. 22.
We need moving help! Please contact Donna if you can donate a couple hours.
