A one-woman show the illuminates and celebrates the life of Erma Bombeck. Heartwarming and funny, a loving tribute to the famous and beloved humorist, Erma captures the frustrations of generations of women struggling with home and family and women's freedoms, asking "If Life is a Bowl of Cherries, What am I Doing in the Pits?" Krista M. Schwarting is a frequent director at Cyrano’s, with credits including Venus in Fur, 4000 Miles, All the Great Books (abridged), Miss Witherspoon, Freud’s Last Session, Eleemosynary, The Seafarer, The Clean House and Deathtrap. Last year, she served as a co-producer of Walking Shadows' West Coast Premiere of Perfect Arrangement, in which she also played Norma Baxter. Her Cyrano's acting credits include Happy Birthday Wanda June, Other Desert Cities, Dead Man’s Cell Phone, La Bete, Love, Loss & What I Wore, Almost, Alaska, Doubt, Ladies of the Camellias, Hamlet, The Laramie Project and the world premieres of Make Good the Fires and Flamel’s Dream. She played Diane Dobler in Big Miracle and also appeared in the films Santa and Death and Baby Geniuses 3. Krista is an associate member of the Stage Directors & Choreographers Society.
